No. The Schmidt Investment Group directs 100% of our investment management revenue from the first 18 months after taking on a new client towards building a school. The Schmidt Investment Group, through Expand Hope, will build the school in honour of our new client and the person who referred them to us.
External donations and/or other new client revenue may be pooled together in order to accumulate enough funds to build a school.
It typically takes 24-36 months from the time a new client joins The Schmidt Investment Group until the school is completed, and you will have the opportunity to participate in a Global Impact Trip and celebrate the opening of the school.
Yes. We will send you regular updates on the progress of the school construction and the community and children that you are impacting. When the school is complete, you and your family will receive an exclusive invitation to travel on a Global Impact Trip and officially open the school with the local community.
Global Impact Trips are at the participants' expense. Expand Hope determines the cost per person for each trip and manages all planning and logistics.
